You're about to discover over 1,000 Spanish verbs exemplified in Spanish and English sentences.

Learning a new language is never an easy task, but it doesn't have to be hard. By learning the 1,000 most-used verbs in a language, you give yourself a fantastic foundation to start building upon to your road to fluency.

In my book, 1,000 Spanish Verbs in Context, I give you over 1,000 of the most common Spanish verbs used today. You are given the verb in Spanish and English with examples of the verb in a sentence, also in Spanish and English No more confusion about how to use the verb. On thousand words is a perfect number to aim for. It is important to give yourself goals to stay motivated and to keep yourself learning.

Imagine if you learned 10 words a day five in the morning and five at night. After only 100 days (that's just over three months) you would have access to 1,000 verbs in your vocabulary. That really is quite a lot, and it would give you an excellent grasp of the language. Far too many people expect to be speaking a new language far too quickly without putting in the time or effort. As a language teacher, I can testify to seeing this too many times. I can also say that by exposing yourself to a new language daily, you will surely learn it.

It does take time and effort, but 10 words a day will give you a massive boost. If you prefer a slower pace, then you could set yourself different goals. The key to learning new vocabulary is to see it in context - that means in use. Seeing how a word is used will help you remember it better. It is also important to understand how that word should be used in a sentence.

As a free bonus I have included the top 100 most-used words in Spanish. Yes, I really want you to learn this beautiful language.

I've struggled with speaking Spanish since high school, and just when I thought I was done, I found out I had to take it in college as well. This is such a great tool, and much more helpful then flashcards in my opinion. It not only helps you learn the verbs, it really helps you with the sentence structure as well since it shows the sentence in Spanish with the verb in bold and then it also shows it to you in English. Since you can compare the two and see how the sentence is different in each language, it has really helped!

1000 Spanish Verbs in Context A SelfStudy Guide for Spanish Language Learners (Audible Audio Edition) Alex Forero Michelle León Richard Forero Books Reviews

I would love to see this in a expanded version with all verb tenses. More verbs and more sentence samples. This is a good start at a good price. The English is sometimes awkward, but the Spanish seems correct. The author must be a Spanish speaker. Thanks for a useful book!
Great book. I took Spanish in high school and would have found this book helpful back then. It also had a list of the most used words in Spanish, which is really helpful. Great resource for traveling. Recommend.
This book is a very good idea, but it is riddled with errors. Every page contains at least 2-3 errors. I will not speak to the Spanish, as I'm not a native Spanish speaker. It is the English translations that are troublesome. In many cases the wrong tense is used, in others the wrong meaning of the word is used. In still others the translations do not make sense or unnecessary words are inserted or words are left out. This could have been avoided by having a native English speaker proof read the book. Below are a couple of examples
The mother hugs to all her children. Should be, the mother hugs all her children.
The baby fell asleep as soon as he go to bed. Should be, the baby fell asleep as soon as he went to bed.
The rabbit ahead of the tortoise. Should be, the rabbit is ahead of the tortoise.
Elena is thinning because she is on a diet. Should be, Elena is getting (becoming) thin because she is on a diet.
Unfortunately these are not all or the worst errors, just examples.
Although this book is meant for sentence practice for English speakers, my Spanish speaking friend and I use these types of books to study together. This does not work if you do not understand English. I would respectfully ask the author to have this book carefully proof read by a native English speaker, as most of the errors are common errors made by Spanish speakers of English. I would be more than happy to re-rate the book.
Very helpful...the Spanish is correct but there are some obvious mistranslations into the English (such as Rake the kitchen floor).
I'll be using this ebook as reference for speaking Spanish for sure. When constructing sentences in another language, it's good to have a handy book available to check.
Worst book ever. Who wants to read 1220 sentences with one verb from a to z, in sequence, with no list/table of each Conjugation and no way of "search" for one particular verb when you need it. One spanish verb contains 120 conjugations for time and person, included gerundio and participio.
Total waste of time and money. Or maybe I just don't get it... Sorry.
I love to travel and learn other languages. This book is perfect for me given my familiarity with the Spanish language. It has helped me improve and expand my vocabulary, and absorb sentence structure and grammar as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to anyone learning the language.
