Give me more aliens!! I just looooovvvved this plot. Yes, the sex was more prevalent for all you steam lovers but the action in the meat of the plot made this second in the series the best.I have decided not to slap the sense into Bunny after all. That's what I get for making snap decisions. Poor Bunny had a relationship history that many women find themselves trapped in. It can be very terrifying and completly change your personality as it did with Bunny.
Giving all the women a sucessful relationship with hunks is a tried and true formula that never fails to entertain...and the was sex truely something to write home about.
But please, please....do NOT tell me this is the end of the story. It wrapped up happily ever after for the happy couples but I demand answers!!!! Who are the aliens and where did they come from? Are they on Earth? Why are they appearing in Rebecca's dreams and talking to her? What happened to the blue powder? (I love that it's actually alive) And will I be able to get some for myself???
Please don't keep you fans waiting too long Ms. Denvonshire....

The Unseen, continues where Dangerous Decent left off. Rebecca and Kent have a lot to sort out, it's just a pity that trouble seems to dog their every step.
Amanda and Tom finally connect, in more ways that one, while Bunny makes a few choices that change her whole life. With the gem smugglers still on the loose, you never know when they will strike, and Sabrina Devonshire doesn't dissapoint in delivering the sizzling suspense. As with all the novels I have read to date by Sabrina, this book is a real journey for your senses. Her vivid descriptive style lets you plunge yourself into the story, while the characters keep you fully engaged with the mystery of the cave. What secrets does it hold? Unseen takes off where Dangerous Descent left off. This book had a good sense of adventure and suspense just like the last one. It continued to capture my interest, but also had a paranormal twist to it. The gem smugglers are still after Rebecca's group, but now have obtained a special powder that gives them special abilities like going invisible and floating.
I enjoyed learning more about Amanda and Tom from their points of view. Bunny was more a interesting character in this book. I found myself wanting to read more about her and learning how she came to be the person she is and how she grew into a better person throughout the story. I liked the new characters I got to meet in the story as well and all the hot, steamy coupling.
There was just one area that was kind of confusing to me in the book. Just when I felt like the story could continue on for awhile longer, it was suddenly one month later. I really enjoyed the story until then, but then really enjoyed the ending of the book. It's still worth reading. I gave it 4/5 stars because of that. But other than that it was a great read!
Sabrina Devonshire's writing turns up the sizzle! As the story continues, you can't help but get swept away into the heart of the jungle and the depth of the caverns. It's a fun read with lots of great action and steamy love scenes!
One thing I particularily enjoyed about this book was the chemistry between all of the characters both old and new. You get to take a glimpse into other characters thoughts and feelings which is always a fun twist. Added bonus... Bunny finally has a chance to find love and redeem herself.
If you are looking for a sexy escape... pick up The Unseen. You won't want to put it down!
The Unseen, the second book in the Love in the Labyrinths series, takes the reader on a whirlwind Vietnamese adventure every bit as exciting as the first book, but with a couple of fascinating differences.
First of all, the plot takes on sci-fi elements when the American geology crew discovers evidence that aliens have visited earth, leaving behind some crystals that give humans some pretty amazing powers. I mean, who hasn't wanted to become invisible? Who hasn't wanted to float through the air as if they were doing underwater acrobatics?
When Kent and his crack team accidentally learn of the powdered crystals' properties, they're immediately at risk of being murdered by the gemstone smugglers who had already discovered the magic. But the bad guys are no match for Kent's crew, which includes the gutsy Rebecca.
I really enjoyed the more intimate stories of some of the characters I met in the first book. Bunny is provided with a really good back story, for example. We cheer for her as she grows and reaps her well-deserved reward. We also meet a few new characters, who add spicy diversity. Each main character in the story is given a point-of-view, so we can really get to know what's going on in their head. Lots of coupling, lots of steamy sex in the steaming jungle. And a really big HEA (don't want to give anything away).
Multiple character POVs and a thrilling pace make this book a quick, fun read! There's plenty of action and some more whimsical sci-fi/fantasy elements too... And plenty of extremely steamy love scenes. Supporting characters from the first book are fully fleshed out and given romances of their own. It's somewhat chaotic and crazy at times, with so much going on... But always fun and tension filled.
